Parents,

We are so excited to share the journey of your student(s)’ High School years with you. We are here to serve you and help your students to grow as much as possible during their time with us.

We want High School ministry to be a safe place where your student feels welcomed, accepted, and that they are free to be themselves. One way we do this is by having amazing leaders. All of our leaders have been through an application process and a background check, so you can trust your students are safe with them. Below are some more ways that we strive to serve you and your students:

Parent Meeting
We want you to be in the know! We will have periodic parent meetings throughout the school year to keep you informed on what is happening in High School Ministry. Check back here for information (including dates and times) on our upcoming meetings.

Student Union
Here is a link to some construction pics taken of the new building. This is a fun way to chart all the great progress that is going on each week. Feel free to bookmark this link and check back often for more pics.

Groups
If your student has been participating in weekend high school celebrations and they are not yet connected to a small group... please email Steph to start the process of getting them connected or click here for an open groups list. All of our groups meet throughout the week in student’s homes. When looking for a group they are divided by age and location for your convenience. So, your student can choose to be in a group in your area of town, with other students in the same grade as themselves, or both!

Groups give students a chance to become deeply connected and form strong bonds with other students and leaders. They are a place of learning, friendship, and community. We highly encourage all students to be involved in a group.

Events
Events are another great way for students to be involved in High School ministry, make new friends, and bring friends to church. Click here for more information on upcoming Vineyard Student Union and High School Ministry events!
